More than $450 Raised
Towson University's Campus Recreation Services hosted the 26th annual 5K (3.1 miles) Turkey Run Saturday, November 22. They raised more then $450 for Alex's Lemonade Stand. SGA May Recoup Costs
Several TU student organized group events have been canceled in light of the violence that erupted from a party held by the Black Student Union on the morning of Saturday, September 20. Man Pleads Guilty to Kevin Ryan's Death

Category Three Hurricane Headed Towards NOLA
Hurricane Gustav, the seventh of the season, heads towards New Orleans, Lousiana as a cetegory three hurricane. Gustav is exepcted to make landfall sometime Monday morning. A 5K run, hike and one mile fun walk will take place on Novembe 8 in Cromwell Valley Park, located five miles from Towson University. The event is hosted by TALMAR, Inc., a local non-profit flower farm. Baltimore County Police have arrested Ian Alexander Murphy, 24, of the 1000-block of Cedarcroft Road, Sunday October 12 for the rape of a 21-year-old woman on October 6.
