Summer league
Caitlin Sparzak
Issue date: 5/12/08 Section: Sports
While football season won't start for another few months, men looking for something to do before the season starts might be interested in the All-Men's Flag Football summer league.
Those interested in joining must be 18 years of age by the first game. The league will feature a play style of eight-on-eight, light contact and has a tentative start date of June 7. Currently games are planned to be held on Saturdays and/or Sundays depending on the size of the league.
Teams will be made of twelve players. Team league fees will be $650. While it is preferred that those interested register with a team, single registration fees will be $60. These fees will include the cost of referee fees and team shirts.
The league is sponsored by Perry Hall Recreation Council and Damon's restaurant.
For more information visit www.baltcosports.com or contact the league directors Jordan Ogle and Keith Wilson by calling 443-797-5859 or sending an e-mail to info@baltcosports.com. Registration will be held at Perry Hall Recreation Council on April 5 from 1-4 p.m. and April 18, April 28 and May 7 from 7-9 p.m.
